My name is Zvonimir Podgajski and I work on murals, tattooing and unique handmade ceramics. Everything I do has naturally evolved and connected over the years, from graffiti to tattooing and, more recently, ceramics which I’ve been focusing on more and more lately.

From painting murals and tattooing to working with ceramics, the most important part of the process for me has always been the beginning itself — sketching and developing an idea before the final piece even starts to take shape. My goal is to carry the same energy and drawing style across different mediums, whether it’s a wall, human skin or a ceramic object. Most of my inspiration comes from films, graffiti, tattoos, music, the internet and everyday scenes or details that stick with me.

What I enjoy most about ceramics is how unpredictable the whole process can be, which in many ways makes it similar to graffiti and tattooing. A piece can crack during the first or second firing, glazes and colors sometimes react completely differently than expected, and when painting ceramics there’s always an element of guessing because the real tones and colors only appear after firing. On top of that, things sometimes simply break or go wrong along the way, so every step requires attention because until the very end you never fully know how the final piece will turn out.

Despite all the uncertainty that comes with the process, I always hope people can recognize the amount of time, focus and effort put into every piece.
